Lazio will be happy to accept offers in the region of €20 million for star player Stefan de Vrij, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri are well aware of the fact that the centre-back wants a new challenge and with one year left on his contract, they are not in a good position.
The good news is that De Vrij is ready to extend his stay for another year, but only if a sensible release clause is included.
Chairman Claudio Lotito believes that €20 million is the figure that should suit both parties, and the player and his agents seem happy with it given the heavy interest in De Vrij from Juventus and other top clubs.
The 25-year-old didn’t need a lot of time to establish himself as one of Serie A’s leading centre-backs, going on to make league appearances since joining from Feyenoord.
