With a real chance to climb back into the top-four, Lazio will look to make a statement when they welcome relegation contenders Empoli to the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday.

Starting with Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio side, booking their spot in the semi-final of this year’s Coppa Italia and also picking up a 1-0 win over Frosinone over the weekend, Thursday’s hosts should be looking to carry on their recent form. Looking to secure Champions League football for the Stadio Olimpico, Lazio will be boosted by their recent record in Formello. Aside from a 2-1 loss to Juventus last month, the Blues are unbeaten at home domestically since the end of October. One man to watch for the hosts will be leading goalscorer Ciro Immobile. As for the visitors, coming off the back of a 2-2 draw with Chievo last weekend, it is no surprise that many have Empoli tipped for relegation this season.
