The agent of Lazio defender Modibo Diakite has revealed that his client would be interested in a switch to English Premier League.
Diakite, 26, has entered the final year of his deal at Stadio Olimpico and has already set his sights on leaving the club in the summer.
He has been out of the first team squad since he rejected a new contract offer, but the nightmare will soon be over.
Daily Mirror understands that Tottenham, Norwich and Fulham are all considering a Bosman deal for the Frenchman, and his agent reveals that Diakite would be keen on moving to the English Premier League.
“The player is out of contract in June 2013 and we are evaluating several proposals from Italy and the rest of Europe, including the UK,” agent Ulisse Savini told Daily Mirror.
“The English league attracts us a lot and certainly if there a real chance to evaluate, but no club has sent us concrete offers, so we are still waiting.”
Diakite joined Lazio from Pescara in the summer of 2006 and went on to make 65 Serie A appearances for the club.
He has featured in just one Coppa Italia fixture this season and has been out of the first team squad since January.
