French Ligue 2 club Le Havre have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Julien François on a free transfer. François, 31, last played for Tours FC and has signed a two year contract with Le Havre.
François began his career with Metz and spent four years with them before switching to Ajaccio. In 2002, he transferred to Grenoble, where he made close to a hundred and thirty league appearances for the club. He returned to Metz in 2006 and made eighty odd appearances in a three year spell with the club before joining Tours.
Le Havre spent last season in Ligue 2 following their relegation from Ligue 1, but were unable to stage an immediate return. They finished 7th in Ligue 2 last season.
