Serie A outfit Napoli look set to sign the 18-year-old Brazilian forward Leandrinho they have been following for quite some time, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport.
Leandro Henrique do Nascimento, commonly referred to as Leandrinho is currently playing for Ponte Preta and is making a name for himself with some high-profile performances for the club.
The talented youngster has bagged 11 goals in 16 games for the Brazilian U-17 side and has already gained plenty of admirers with Napoli leading the line.
Partenopei are thought to be well underway with negotiations over a possible January transfer with the Italian media outlet reporting that the player himself was in audience for Napoli’s goalless draw with Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The player is believed to have accepted the offer from Serie A club and will go on to occupy one of Napoli’s non-EU slots in the team.
Napoli have been in the market for a striker for quite some time now and have already been linked with the likes of Leonardo Pavolleti.
