Leao wants to stay at AC Milan

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Rafael Leao is in a ‘hurry’ to sign a new deal and stay at AC Milan.

The belief is that he will be ignoring any advances or approaches from Chelsea and instead, wants to stay with the Italian club and continue to help push them further up through the ranks of both Italian and European football.

The 23-year-old is already an incredibly influential member of the first team squad and he’s expected to take those talents over to the Portuguese national team this winter as they gear up for the start of the World Cup.

The Blues, meanwhile, are in need of a few more attacking options up top, and that’s especially true now that Thomas Tuchel has gone and Graham Potter has been given the task of getting Chelsea back to where many believe they should be – in the title hunt.
