Leeds 118/8 to beat Brentford and under 3.5 goals in Wednesday’s Championship contest

Competition: Championship

Market: Leeds win and under 3.5 goals

Odds: 11/8 @ Bet 365

Already taking their spot at the top of the Championship, a high-flying Leeds will welcome Brentford to Elland Road on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, putting in yet another eye-catching display in their 2-0 win away at Wigan last weekend, Leeds have their sights firmly set on securing a Premier League return come May. Also boosted by their routine 3-0 victory away at Salford and progressing into the second round of this years League Cup, Marcelo Bielsa’s men have already taken their spot at the top of the table. One man to watch in midweek will be leading man and attacking talisman Patrick Bamford. The former Chelsea starlet has already bagged three goals in his opening three contests and should be looking to carry on his goalscoring tally on Wednesday.

As for the visitors, while Leeds might be enjoying a stellar start to the new campaign, the same can not be said for a struggling Brentford outfit. Putting in another sluggish display in their 1-1 draw at home against Hull on Saturday, there appears to be increasing pressure on Head Coach Thomas Frank. Crashing out of the League Cup thanks to a penalties defeat against League Two outfit Cambridge, fans around Griffin Park will have growing concerns about the Bees’ defensive issues. Brentford have managed to record just a single clean sheet in any of their last seven contests.
