Leeds don’t plan to sell Liverpool target Raphinha

According to The Mirror, Leeds United do not plan to sell Raphinha in the summer of 2021 amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester United. Premier League giants Liverpool and United have been impressed by the performances of the 24-year-old winger, but Leeds, who won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, have no intention of cashing in on him.

The report has added that Raphinha himself is very happy at Leeds and is not pushing for a move away from Elland Road at the end of the season. The 24-year-old joined Leeds from Rennes in the summer of 2020 and has established himself as an important player in the team.

According to WhoScored, Raphinha has made 18 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds so far this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in the process. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 26 matches.
