Leeds United, Everton and Newcastle United are interested in signing James Scott from Hull City in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. It has been reported that Everton have made an enquiry to Hull about the 19-year-old forward, with Crystal Palace, Leeds and Everton monitoring the situation.
Hull, who will play in League One next season after getting relegated from the Championship, want to keep the 19-year-old forward they signed from Scottish premiership club Motherwell in the January transfer window for £1.5 million. The Scotland Under-21 international made four starts and three substitute appearances for the Tigers during the second half of the past season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
While a move to a Premier League club such as Leeds, Everton and Newcastle would be very tempting for Scott, the Scottish teenager is unlikely to get much playing time for the first team at those clubs. Spending a season in League One in England where he would play regularly would be sensible.
