Leeds go after Benrahma

According to a recent report from the Mirror, Leeds United are hoping to try and sign Brentford star Said Benrahma during the summer transfer window.

The news comes in the wake of the Bees’ disappointing loss in the playoff final, with Leeds being willing to put forward an offer in the next few weeks.

Of course, they’ll need to spend big if they’re going to lure him over to Elland Road, with the financial aspect not really being something that has been discussed in regards to the impact of COVID-19.

The club is set to face stiff competition from both West Ham United and Aston Villa, both of whom were able to stay in the Premier League last season despite many believing they’d be relegated.

Either way it appears as if he’ll be heading to a bottom half club, but that could well depend on what price tag Brentford will put on his head.
