Leeds United are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo in the summer transfer window, according to Foot Mercato. The report has claimed that the West Yorkshire club are looking at Gakpo as a possible replacement for Brazil international winger Raphinha, who has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona.
Foot Mercato have reported that Leeds are keeping a close eye on Gakpo and would have no problem in paying the €30 million needed to sign the 23-year-old Netherlands international winger if they get more for Raphinga.
Gakpo made 22 starts and five substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for PSV last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists in the process. The Dutch winger also scored two goals in four Europa League matches last season.
