Leeds United turned down a bid from Chelsea for Raphinha in the January transfer window, according to Mundo Deportivo. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that Chelsea made an offer of £40 million for the Brazil international winger, but Premier League rivals Chelsea turned it down.
Raphinha is one of the best players at Leeds and is key to the club retaining their Premier League status for next season. The 25-year-old Brazil international winger has made 26 starts and one substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Whites so far this season, scoring nine goals and providing three assists in the process.
Leeds are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 30 matches, as many seven points above the bottom three.
