According to TMW, Leeds United are interested in signing Toulouse midfielder Kouadio Kone in the January transfer window. The Premier League club reportedly wanted to sign the teenager in the summer transfer window and still remain interested in securing his services, but they are now facing competition from Italian and European giants AC Milan for him.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that French club Toulouse are looking for as much as €15 million for the teenager. Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa and director of football Victor Orta have been tracking the 19-year-old for a long time.
According to WhoScored, Kone has made 13 starts and four substitute appearances in Ligue 2 for Toulouse so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The France Under-19 international has scored one goal in two Coupe de la Ligue ties this campaign, according to WhoScored.
