Leeds United and Rangers are among the clubs interested in signing Jacob Murphy from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. German club Bayer Leverkusen and Turkish giants Galatasaray are also claimed to be keen on securing the services of the 26-year-old winger.
Murphy is out of contract at Newcastle at the end of next season. The Magpies, though, do not want to sell the 26-year-old and are keen on tying him down to a longer deal. Burnley, Southampton and Watford are also keen on the former Norwich City winger who is currently valued at £3 million.
According to WhoScored, Murphy made 17 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this past season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process. The winger also scored one goal in four EFL Cup matches and made one substitute appearance in the FA Cup, according to WhoScored.
