Leeds United are interested in signing Christoph Kramer, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Kramer is training at Leeds, who are keen on securing the defensive midfielder’s services on a free transfer.
Kramer has been on trial at Leeds and is working to try to earn a deal with the West Yorkshire club, who are aiming to clinch promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season. The 33-year-old German defensive midfielder worked with Leeds head coach Daniel Farke at Borussia Mönchengladbach. He has been out of contract since leaving Monchengladbach in August 2024.
Leeds are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 16 points from nine matches. The Whites are three points behind Sunderland and Sheffield United, who are currently first and second respectively in the standings. Leeds will face the Blades at Elland Road in the league on Friday evening.
