Leeds United are interested in signing Eberechi Eze from Queens Park Rangers in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror. Eze is one of the best young attacking midfielders in the Championship and is valued at £20 million by his club QPR.
The West Yorkshire outfit will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship. This is the first time that Leeds will feature in the top flight of English football since 2004, and the club’s director of football Victor Orta has identified Eze as a player who would make Marcelo Bielsa’s side better.
West Ham United and Crystal Palace are also interested in the 22-year-old attacking midfielder, who scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 46 Championship games for QPR during the 2019-20 campaign, according to WhoScored. Rangers are likely to lose Eze this summer, as he is too good for the Championship.
