Leeds United eye Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp

Leeds United are interested in signing Oliver Skipp from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Championship club Leeds are looking to bolster their midfield, and that Skipp is on their radar.

However, according to TEAMtalk, Leeds are unlikely to be able to secure the services of Skipp this summer. That is because the 23-year-old defensive midfielder has interest from clubs in the Premier League, and it is unlikely that he would be willing to take a step down and move to a club in the Championship.

Skipp has been on the books of Spurs since 2008 and has come through the North London club’s youth system to establish himself in the first team. The 23-year-old made five starts and 16 substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, while in 2022-23, he made 18 starts and five substitute appearances in the league for Spurs.
