Leeds United are interested in signing Rafinha Alcantara from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. It has been reported by the Spanish publication that the promoted Premier League club have held talks with the Spanish and European giants over the transfer of Thiago.
The 27-year-old Brazil international midfielder is reportedly ready to move to the Premier League. Rafinha, whose brother Thiago plays for Bayern Munich, spent last season on loan at Celta de Vigo, and scored four goals and provided one assist in 29 La Liga games, according to WhoScored.
Leeds are preparing for life in the Premier League. This is the first time that the West Yorkshire club will play in the top flight of English football since 2004. The Whites have already signed Germany international central defender Robin Koch from Freiburg and Spain international striker Rodrigo from La Liga outfit Valencia in the summer transfer window.
