Leeds United are interested in signing Romain Perraud from Brest in the summer of 2021, according to The Athletic. It has been reported that Leeds looked at signing the left-back in the January transfer window, but Brest did not entertain the idea of selling one of their best players in the middle of the season.
According to the report, Brest have extended the contract of Perraud to 2025. Premier League club Leeds are now claimed to be looking to make a formal offer for the former France Under-20 international in the summer of 2021.
According to WhoScored, Perraud has made 20 starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 for Brest so far this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists in the process. During the 2019-20 campaign, the 23-year-old French left-back made 19 starts and one substitute appearance in the league, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
