Leeds United are interested in signing Christian Pulisic from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the USA international is not part of new Chelsea manager Graham Potter’s plan, and Leeds are keen to bring the 24-year-old to Ellland Road.
Pulisic can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and has been on the books of Chelsea since 2019. The American star moved to the Blues from German club Borussia Dortmund. Pulisic won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea in 2020-21. The attacker has scored 19 goals and created 12 big chances in 80 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch is a fan of Pulisic, and both are American. However, the West Yorkshire club are unlikely to be too tempting for a player like Pulisic who is used to competing for the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
