Leeds United are interested in signing Borna Barisic from Rangers in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. It has been reported that Leeds, who have won automatic promotion to the Premier League, are considering making a move for the Croatia international left-back.
The Whites are on the hunt for a new senior left-back, and Barisic is on their radar. Stuart Dallas and Ezgjan Alioski were converted into left-backs by head coach Marcelo Bielsa, with Barry Douglas the only senior recognised player in that position on the Whites’ books at the moment.
Barisic is one of the best left-backs in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in manager Steven Gerrard’s side. With the Gers aiming to win the league title this season and stop their bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic from making it 10 in a row, it is hard to see the Glasgow giants sell the left-back this summer.
