Leeds United want £15m for Ilia Gruev

Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Ilia Gruev from Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has noted that Gruev is ready to leave Leeds, and that the West Yorkshire club are looking for £15 million for the defensive midfielder.

TEAMtalk has noted that Gruev is open to moving to Dortmund this summer. The German club reached the final of the UEFA Champions League. As for Leeds, they reached the Championship playoff final where they lost to Southampton. Daniel Farke’s side will spend next season in the Championship.

Gruev made 23 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season. He scored one goal and gave one assist in those games. The 24-year-old Bulgarian international defensive midfielder moved to Leeds from Werder Bremen in the summer of 2023. It will be interesting to see if Dortmund would be willing to pay £15m for the midfielder.
