Leeds United are interested in signing Lewis Cook from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The 23-year-old midfielder is on the radar of Leeds, as the Whites prepare for life in the Premier League next season.
The West Yorkshire outfit won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season and will play in the top flight of English football for the first time since 2004 in 2020-21. As for Bournemouth, the Cherries got relegated to the second tier of English football after spending five years in the Premier League.
Cook started his professional club football career at Leeds, and after succeeding in the first team, the England international moved to Bournemouth in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee of £6 million. The youngster has had injury problems during his time at the Vitality Stadium, and given that the Cherries have been relegated, he could fancy a return to Elland Road.
