Leicester City have approached the representatives of Adam Lallana of Liverpool to try and discuss a free transfer in the summer, according to Sky Sports.
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers signed Lallana for Liverpool back in 2014 and is apparently keen on a reunion with the attacking midfielder at the King Power Stadium. Lallana is still required to obtain permission from his current employers before he can enter any negotiations with an English club, but it is believed that won’t be a problem. With his current contract expiring at the end of the season, the Champions League holders have already informed the England international that he wouldn’t be offered a new one and made it clear he was free to plan his future.
Leicester face the possibility of losing James Maddison this summer, and that is probably where Lallana would be expected to come in. Maddison has been heavily linked with Manchester United, with recent reports suggesting he has his heart set on an Old Trafford move.
