Leicester City have completed the signing of Manchester United youngster Jack Barmby, according to the Mail Online.
The 19 year old son of former England international Nick, made his professional debut on loan with Hartlepool United in January, scoring in a 2-0 win over York City at Victoria Road.
In total, he made seventeen appearances for the League Two side, scoring five goals while internationally he has been capped three times for England’s Under 19 side.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson, whose side won the Championship with a club record tally of 102 points, is keen to assemble a side who can compete in the top flight, with the club having been absent from this level for a decade.
The Foxes have also agreed a one-year deal with former England international defender Matthew Upson, who rejected the chance to remain with Brighton and Hove Albion – the side for which he made forty-seven appearances last season.
