Leicester City 5/4 to stay up following January spending spree

Competition: Premier League
Market: Leicester City to stay up
Odds: 5/4 @ William Hill

Leicester City are close to completing a deal to sign talented Croatia striker Andrej Kramaric. The 23-year-old has been a prolific scorer for his three former sides, bagging 99 goals in 178 games in total, and could well be what the Foxes need to boost their survival chances.

Nigel Pearson’s men are currently rock bottom of the Premier League, but have picked up four points from their last two games, and have a home game against Aston Villa to come. A win could see them reduce their deficit to safety to just a point, so they need such new arrivals to hit the ground running instantly.

A lack of goals has been one of the problems Leicester have faced this season, so a prolific forward like Kramaric could well be the difference in their relegation. William Hill are giving odds of 5/4 for City to stay up as a result of their transfer action in January, with the club owner willing to spend big to keep Leicester in the top flight.
