Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola claims that Leicester City have reached an agreement to sign FC Porto full-back Ricardo Pereira.
The 24-year-old returned to Estadio do Dragao after a very successful loan spell at Nice, and he has been in excellent form this season.
Pereira scored 2 goals and set up another 4 in 24 Ligue 1 outings, thus catching the eye of numerous top clubs.
According to reports, Leicester City have emerged as favourites to sign the talented full-back as they are reportedly prepared to offer £22.5 million for his services.
With Pereira’s current contract set to expire in just over a year and exciting talent Diogo Dalot ready to take over, chances are that FC Porto will cash in on their prized asset in the summer transfer window.
