Portuguese media outlet Record is reporting that Leicester City are hot on the trail of Benfica full-back Andre Almeida.
The Foxes have been shopping in Portugal of late, signing Islam Slimani and Adrien Silva, and they are now looking at the Eagles defender.
According to reports, Leicester City scouts have watched Almeida several times this season and the Premier League side are readying an official proposal.
The 27-year-old has been one of club’s most consistent performers this term, producing 2 goals and 3 assists in 15 Primeira Liga matches.
Having been at Estadio da Luz since 2011, he may be interested in a new challenge this winter.
