Leicester City rekindle interest in Francesco Totti

Premier League leaders Leicester City are weighing up summer move for AS Roma captain Francesco Totti, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The veteran forward will be out of contract at the end of the season, and he is unlikely to be offered a new deal at Stadio Olimpico.

And seeing that Totti is not yet ready to hang up his boots, the 39-year-old is considering his options at the moment.

After he was linked with a move to Major League Soccer, the former Italy international is now reportedly a target for Premier League high flyers Leicester City.

The Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri wants Totti to help his side in their maiden Champions League campaign and he has already spoken to the forward about moving to King Power Stadium.

With eight games to go, Leicester sit five points clear at the Premier League summit and they are 4/6 favourites to go all the way.
