Leicester City want James Tarkowski from Burnley

Leicester City are interested in signing James Tarkowski from Premier League rivals Burnley in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Star. It has been reported that the Foxes are ready to make an offer of £30 million to the Clarets to secure the services of the 27-year-old defender.

However, according to the report, Burnley do not want to sell the England international defender this summer. It has been further claimed that the Clarets will demand as much as £50 million for the 27-year-old.

West Ham United are also reported to be interested in Tarkowski. The London club, who recently sold winger Grady Diangana to West Bromwich Albion, have already made an offer of £25 million, but Burnley are set to reject it.  With West Ham having just about managed to avoid relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season, Leicester will be a more appealing club to Tarkowski.
