Competition: Premier League
Market: Nigel Pearson next manager to exit his post
Odds: 1/2 @ William Hill
It’s been a bad week for Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson. The Foxes boss was rumoured to have been sacked following defeat to Crystal Palace, and in that game was also involved in an altercation with Palace midfielder James McArthur.
His future remains with Leicester for the time being, but many believe he was axed by one member of the owner’s family, and reinstated by another. Pearson hasn’t been charged for the incident between him and McArthur, but his future remains in the air ahead of tonight’s clash against Arsenal.
Leicester City are currently bottom of the Premier League this season, and are enduring poor recent form too. Defeat tonight would see Pearson on the brink, and as a result William Hill are giving odds of 1/2 for the 51-year-old to be the next manager out of the door.
Pearson’s relationship with the fans has sourced this campaign, with the manager having been reprimanded for verbally abusing a supporter, and it appears inevitable that he will be parting ways with the club this season.
Bet: Leicester City’s Nigel Pearson to be next manager to exit his post @ 1/2 with William Hill >>
