Leicester drawing up new Vardy deal

Leicester City are set to offer Jamie Vardy a more than double-your-money contract in an attempt to keep him at the club, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-eight-year-old has been in superb form for the Foxes so far this season, with his fifteen league goals helping fire them to the top two of the division.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have both been linked with a move for the England international though the Midlands club are desperate to retain his services as they look to win a first ever top division championship.

Vardy has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal at the King Power Stadium, having moved there in the summer of 2012.

In total, he has racked one hundred and twenty-seven appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring forty-one goals.

He is currently the joint-top scorer in the Premier League with Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, and can be backed at 9/2 to win the Golden Boot.
