Leicester City are ready to make a move for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle, according to the Mirror.
Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri is keen on bringing in another striker to help lessen the goal-scoring burden on top scorer Jamie Vardy and has turned to Gayle, despite the twenty-five year old failing to score in the league so far this season.
He does have four goals in the League Cup and hit ten in all competitions last season but is set to fall further down the Palace pecking order following Emanuel Adebayor’s arrival at Selhurst Park.
Swansea City have also been linked with a move for the former Peterbrough United man though the East Midlands’ side, who remain on top of the division after twenty-three games, are the front runners in the race to secure his services.
Leicester host Liverpool on Tuesday afternoon and can be backed at 29/20 for the win.
