Leicester eye Pelle move

Premier League pace setters Leicester City are set to make a move for Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, according to the Express.

The East Midlands club are looking to ease the goal-scoring burden on Jamie Vardy who is currently leading the race for the Golden Boot with sixteen strikes so far.

Pelle has also been linked with moves to both Manchester United and Chelsea, and could be allowed to leave after the Saints secured a deal for Charlie Austin earlier this month.

Since arriving at St Mary’s from Feyenord in the summer of 2014, the thirty year old has racked up sixty-seven appearances in all competitions, scoring twenty-five goals though he has managed just six in the league so far this season.

Southampton have won their last three league games without conceding and next face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening, with the away win priced at 15/4.
