Premier League leaders Leicester City are keeping close tabs on Vitoria Guimaraes goalkeeper Joao Miguel Macedo Silva, according to A Bola.
The Foxes need extra cover for first choice shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel considering that his current replacement Mark Schwarzer is 43 at the moment.
As a result, they have been showing interest in Miguel Silva, the talented goalkeeper who has impressed in his maiden Primeira Liga campaign.
The 21-year-old began the current season in the reserves, but he was promoted to the first team set-up in November and has since made 18 league appearances.
Miguel Silva especially performed well in high-profile matches against Benfica, FC Porto and Sporting CP, and his promising showings clearly did not go unnoticed.
His suitors Leicester City currently sit seven points clear at the Premier League summit and they can be backed at 2/7 to lift the coveted title and round off a perfect season.
