Leicester City are having an intriguing transfer window and their summer could get even more interesting. According to the Daily Mail, the Foxes are looking to sign Dennis Praet from Sampdoria. The Belgian midfielder would be an interesting choice for Brendan Rodgers’ young squad and he would add more talent to a thrilling group of players.
Rodgers is apparently a big fan of the 25-year-old midfielder and Leicester are now in a great position financially, after selling Harry Maguire to Manchester United. Several reports have quoted a fee of around 20-25 million pounds, but Daily Mail also claim that Leicester could use Rachid Ghezzal as part of the deal, in order to lower the transfer fee.
AC Milan were reportedly also interested, but it looks like Leicester have more financial power this time around. Praet would, if he signed for Leicester, team up once again with Youri Tielemans, as the Belgian duo played together in central midfielder while they were at Anderlecht.
