Premier League outfit Leicester City have had an offer turned down for Sporting Lisbon winger Andre Carrillo, A Bola has learned.
The Foxes appear to be in the market for attacking reinforcements in spite of the excellent start to the season and great form of winger Riyad Mahrez.
Leicester submitted a €12 million proposal for Sporting Lisbon hotshot Andre Carrillo last night, but had the bid rejected by the Lions.
The Foxes still have time to come back with an improved offer seeing as summer transfer window in England is open until 6pm BST today, and it remains to be seen whether they can reach an agreement with the Primeira Liga side.
Andre Carrillo, 24, had a slow start to his career at Estadio Jose Alvalade, but has since shown a great deal of improvement and is now regarded a key member of the squad.
The winger was also in fine form as Peru achieved a third-place finish at the 2015 Gold Cup earlier this summer.
