Italian daily newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that Leicester City could offer Italian forward Francesco Totti an escape route from AS Roma.
The Italian icon has clashed with coach Luciano Spalletti over the lack of playing time and there is a possibility he could leave his boyhood club at the end of the current campaign.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri believes that Totti still has a lot to offer and he is ready to bring him to King Power Stadium.
The Foxes could really use someone with a wealth of Champions League experience if they secure a place in Europe’s elite competition and the Italian veteran certainly fits the bill.
Francesco Totti, 39, has spent his entire career at AS Roma, but after scoring 8 goals in 27 league appearances last term, he only featured in five Serie A games this season.
