Sport Mediaset has suggested that Leicester City are considering a move for Italian full-back Ezequiel Schelotto.
The 26-year-old has become a free agent after his deal with Inter Milan came to an end and he is currently searching for a new club.
According to Sport Mediaset, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri is well aware of the player’s qualities and he is considering offering him a contract, but the problem is the Italian coach has no plans to add Schelotto to his ranks before the January window.
Meanwhile, the player himself would prefer to play as soon as possible and he may decide to explore other opportunities.
Ezequiel Schelotto has spent his entire professional career in Italy, after coming through the youth ranks at Velez Sarsfield and Banfield.
The well-travelled full-back represented Cesena, Atalanta, Catania, Inter Milan, Sassuolo, Parma and Chievo, making 152 Serie A appearances and notching 9 goals in the process.
