Talksport understands that Leicester City are considering a move for New York City FC forward Jack Harrison.
The twenty-one year old has been plying his trade in MLS since last year and has so far racked up fifty-six senior appearances, scoring fourteen goals – form that has seen him drafted into England’s Under 21s squad.
He played in both of Aidy Boothroyd’s sides UEFA Under 21 Championship qualifying wins last month, starting in the 1-0 win over Armenia four days after he came of the bench for his debut – a 3-1 win over Scotland.
Brighton and Hove Albion, Everton and Manchester City have also been linked with a move, with the latter having first refusal due to their links with the New York outfit.
However, it is the Foxes who look set to get the ball rolling as they eye move for when the transfer window reopens in January.
