Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri is eyeing a move for Southampton’s Victor Wanyama, according to the Mirror.
The Italian, who is leading the Foxes on the most unlikely of title charges, is on the lookout for a new midfield enforcer with PFA Player of the Year nominee N’Golo Kante strongly linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium.
Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain are all battling to secure Kante’s services and the Foxes may be powerless to resist any big money bids, even if they are to secure the championship.
Wanyama, who himself has been linked with a move over the past few transfer windows and has just one year remaining on his current deal is keen to once again play in the Champions League and remarkably Leicester will be able to help him fulfill that desire.
