Leicester negotiating Walace move

Reigning Premier League champions Leicester City are still searching for the right N’Golo Kante replacement and the last midfielder in line to be linked with the Foxes is Gremio enforcer Walace.

Claudio Ranieri attempted to replace the powerful French dynamo in the summer with the likes of Daniel Amartey and Nampalys Mendy, but seeing that both players failed to impress the Foxes are ready to get back in the market for defensive midfield reinforcements.

According to ESPN Brazil, Walace’s agent has already arrived to England in order to make one step further in negotiations that have been opened a short while ago.

Leicester City are reportedly willing to invest €10 million for the 21-year-old Brazil international who played 24 games for Gremio in Brasileirao Serie A this season.

Walace has spent his entire career with Gremio and a potential move to the Premier League would be his first-ever overseas adventure.

The talented Brazilian has won a gold medal with the Olympic team last summer.
