Interesting times are here for Leicester City. Whilst Brendan Rodgers’ side is still somehow clinging onto the place that leads to the Champions League next season, the Foxes are far from being in good form and it will be very hard for them to qualify. But, they are very close to playing in Europa League next season, which could be an interesting step up for the former Premier League champions.
For that step up, they want to try and improve their team as much as possible and now Daily Mail are reporting that they are plotting a summer swoop for Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic. The Serbian striker has had a bad first season at the Spanish giants and the 22-year-old is seen as a potential long-term successor for Jamie Vardy.
Allegedly, Leicester could bid as high as 31 million pounds for former Red Star striker, but it remains to be seen how open Real Madrid could be to that option.
