According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Leicester City are set to battle it out with AC Milan in the race to try and sign Celtic star Kristoffer Ajer in the transfer window. The 22-year-old Norwegian has made quite the impression in the Scottish Premier League, to the point where it feels like just a matter of time before he goes elsewhere.
In Leicester and Milan, you have two clubs that are desperate to relive their glory days. The Foxes are on the verge of heading back into the UEFA Champions League, whereas Milan want to know what it feels like to be one of the biggest clubs in Italian football again.
Whether or not Ajer will be able to consistently thrive in a much more competitive league than the SPL remains to be seen, but you can bet these two sides are willing to take the gamble on him.
