Leicester City do not want to sell their players so easily. We have seen that with Harry Maguire last summer, when they clearly knew what asking price they have set and they did not want to budge and in the end it was Manchester United who paid exactly that amount.
This time, however, the rumours have started about Chelsea and Manchester City being interested in their left-back Ben Chillwell. The player did well so far this season and both teams that are reportedly looking at him have had some issues at left-back. Therefore, that move would make sense for both sides, but the Daily Star are now suggesting that Chillwell is et to be handed a new Leicester City contract.
The 22-year-old already has a five-year deal with Leicester, but now the Foxes want to improve his wages and pay him £100,000 a week. That would mean the new contract would be worth £25 million.
