According to Sky Sports, RB Leipzig have placed another bid for Ademola Lookman. The 20-year-old joined Everton back in 2017 but also spent last season on loan with Leipzig, and now, the German club are very interested in bringing him back over. The German summer transfer window is still open even though England’s is shut, which is why this move would be permitted.
The initial bid was believed to have been worth around £12 million, but now, Leipzig have reportedly come back with a fee of £22 million. The young Englishman is viewed as a primary target by Leipzig, and on the other hand, it seems as if the Toffees are 50/50 regarding whether or not he will be a valuable member of the squad for them moving forward.
Everton are coming off the back of a 2-1 win over Southampton at the weekend, whereas Leipzig defeated Viktoria Koln in an impressive DFB Cup triumph.
