Bundesliga high flyers Red Bull Leipzig are considering a January bid for West Ham starlet Reece Oxford, the Daily Mirror has suggested.
The Bulls have enjoyed a remarkable start to the new league campaign and are currently level on points with champions Bayern Munich.
As a result, the club are ready to further reinforce their ranks in January and having been impressed with Oliver Burke, Leipzig are ready to try and sign West Ham youngster Reece Oxford.
The Bulls are ready to step up their interest in the 17-year-old footballer ahead of the January transfer window, but reports from England suggest West Ham are not ready to sell.
The Hammers believe their academy product can develop into a world-class defender and they are not prepared to let him go.
After making seven Premier League appearances last season, Oxford has yet to make his first outing this term.
