According to German outlet Bild, RB Leipzig have put a price tag of €75 million on Christopher Nkunku for the upcoming summer transfer window, and they won’t be considering any offers below that amount.
Having risen through the youth ranks at Paris Saint-Germain, the attacking midfielder moved to Leipzig in the summer of 2019 for a reported fee of €13m. His growth as a player has been gradual but very notable, and this season, he’s 38 goal involvements (25 goals and 13 assists) in 36 appearances in all competitions for the German club.
His excellent performances have unsurprisingly raised the eyebrows of many, and he’s been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Juventus. However, with his contract not set to expire before the summer of 2024, whoever wants to take concrete steps towards securing the services of the 24-year-old will obviously have be willing to part with a large sum to make it happen.
