(GSM) – Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Aaron Lennon is set to make his comeback for his team’s clash with Manchester United on Saturday.
Lennon has yet to be in action for Spurs after limping off with a groin injury during a 2-0 Spurs’ victory over West Ham on December 28 last year.
But, in what would also be a boost for England manager Fabio Capello, he is set to start from the bench in the lunchtime kick-off which is crucial to the outcome of the Barclays Premier League title and Tottenham’s hopes of securing fourth position.
“He trained fully with us this week for the first time since the injury and it’s going well,” Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp told the Sun.
“He should be on the bench at least and it’s great to have Aaron around again – not only for Tottenham but for England too. It’s good news,” Spurs’ boss added.
Tottenham are in fourth place, two points ahead of Manchester City who travel to Arsenal for the late game on Saturday.
