The 31-year-old centre-back Leonardo Bonucci is currently at the center of attention in Italy.
The AC Milan captain has been linked with a move away from Rossoneri for quite some time and has been courter by Paris Saint-Germain where he would reunite with former Juventus teammate Gianluigi Buffon.
Growing reports coming from the Italian media, however, have it that another type of reunion is on the cards for Bonucci who could make a shock return to Juventus.
Bonucci forced the transfer away from Bianconeri last summer and went on to talk trash about his former club and even celebrated a goal he scored for AC Milan at the Juventus stadium which was a stab in the heart of Bianconeri supporters.
His return to Turin would definitely be seen as a shock move from the Juventus hierarchy but several reports from Italy, including Gazzetta dello Sport, claim that a swap deal between the two clubs is possible and could include striker Gonzalo Higuain moving in the opposite direction.
AC Milan have been slapped with a European ban and will not participate in the Europa League next season which is said to be one of the main reasons behind Bonucci’s possible move away from the club.
